ABOUT DR. MERTER
Dr. Ayşe Arduçoğlu Merter received her medical degree from Çukurova University and went on to complete her surgical specialization at Akdeniz University, one of Turkey’s leading medical institutions.
She then dedicated more than two decades of her career to serving at Antalya Training and Research Hospital, later known as Antalya Education and Research Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in a wide range of surgical disciplines.
Throughout her career, Dr. Merter had the distinct honor of working alongside the renowned Prof. Dr. Tuncer Karpuzoğlu, the founding figure of the Department of Surgery at Akdeniz University.
Under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Akaydın, a respected name in the medical community, she successfully presented her thesis, further strengthening her academic and clinical foundation.
Today, Dr. Merter continues to integrate the high standards of excellence instilled in her by these pioneering mentors into her practice, providing patient-centered, evidence-based surgical care.
