ABOUT HER
Dr. Merter gained medical education at Çukurova University and obtained her specialization degree from Akdeniz University. She worked as a surgeon for more than 20 years at Antalya Training and Research Hospital (later renamed Education and Research Hospital).
Doctor Ayşe Arduçoğlu Merter takes pride in having worked alongside the late Prof. Dr. Tuncer Karpuzoğlu, who founded the surgical department at Akdeniz University. She presented her thesis under the supervision of another esteemed Professor, Dr. Mustafa Akaydın.
